Kiyomizu-dera Temple (清水寺)

Kiyomizu-dera Temple (清水寺) is one of Kyoto’s most famous landmarks, and it’s fairly easy to reach using public transportation or on foot.

The large wooden stage extending from the main hall is one of its most iconic features, offering panoramic views of Kyoto, especially stunning during the autumn foliage season as seen here with the beautiful red and orange leaves.
