Japanese Famous Wall Art The Great Wave Kanagawa-oki Nami Ura 50*50cm

生活 Seikatsu せいかつ

The Great Wave off Kanagawa (Japanese: 神奈川沖浪裏/Kanagawa-oki Nami Ura, lit. 'Under the Wave off Kanagawa') is a woodblock print by Japanese ukiyo-e artist Hokusai, created in late 1831 during the Edo period of Japanese history. The print depicts three boats moving through a storm-tossed sea, with a large wave forming a spiral in the centre and Mount Fuji visible in the background. Huge waves rolled over the fishing boat, and the boatmen fought hard to survive.

The product has a waterproof coating on the back panel, which protects the screen from mildew or deformation. The rope makes it easier to attach the piece to the wall.

Reviews

"Nancy Hachisu is...intrepid. Outrageously creative. Intensely passionate. Committed. True and real. I urge you to cook from this book with abandon, but first read it like a memoir, chapter by chapter, and you will share in the story of a modern-day family, a totally unique and extraordinary one."
