Pre-cooked Udon noodles 4x200g Shoutao Instant Japanese Udon Noodle

Pre-cooked Udon noodles are quick to prepare, so you will save a lot of time in making a real Japanese Udon noodle meal.

The special thing about Udon noodles is that they don't stretch like other Asian noodles. The Udon is rolled out and cut. It does not contain an egg and therefore it has a beautiful white color. A funny video how you can make Japanese Udon yourself. This idea has existed in Japanese cuisine for centuries.

Preparation tips
Boil the instant Udon noodles in boiling water for a minute. Strain them out and put a nice broth soup over it with some finely chopped onions and you have a nice Japanese basic Udon soup. You can also bake the Udon, for that you also have to pre-cook them so that they become more elastic.

A bag of instant Udon noodles is enough for one serving.

Reviews

"Nancy Hachisu is...intrepid. Outrageously creative. Intensely passionate. Committed. True and real. I urge you to cook from this book with abandon, but first read it like a memoir, chapter by chapter, and you will share in the story of a modern-day family, a totally unique and extraordinary one."
