To simply call a yuzu a Japanese lemon does not do it justice. The small, shriveled fruit is able to combine almost all the aromas of the citrus world in its few drops of juice. This highly aromatic elixir is the secret of yuzuka.

The yuzu is a very popular fruit in Japan. It is used in desserts, for marinating fish, as an addition to spice mixtures and for much more.

But of course the juice of this Japanese lemon, as Yuzu is also called, is also wonderful for drinks. It is very different from the normal lemon: its aromas are much more intense, the taste is much more complex. You can taste almost all the aromas of the citrus world in Yuzu juice: lemon, lime, grapefruit, orange, mandarin...
