Quality : Spring picking
Sencha green tea is picked at the beginning of the picking season in late April to mid-May. The tea leaves are still young, small and fresh. After the tea leaves are picked, they go into the fermentation process and then they are steamed.

When they are dried it looks like the leaves are folded. When you add boiling hot water, you will see that the leaves slowly unfold into a whole leaf.

Taste
Aromatic green tea, but with the best quality because it was picked early in the season. It is very tasty after a hearty meal or to enjoy real green tea with a light sweet aftertaste.
